I played in the inagural event with the brilliant Bob Northcott in 2000 and have been fortunate to play eight times against Scotland since.
We won that original match 18-6 but 35+, 70+ and 75+ age groups have since been introduced so that the final score to England this year was 33-9.
Masters badminton competition is thriving and I can recommend anyone of a certain age to get involved. I have played with and against ex-All England winners as well as many International players both at home and abroad.
