CORNISH BADMINTON LEGEND SADLY PASSES AWAY
The Cornwall Badminton Fraternity was saddened to lose one of its most famous players - Bob Northcott - who passed away at his Higher Compton, Plymouth, home on August, 18th, aged 58 years. Bob, a Former England Veterans International, with over 250 senior county caps to his name, leaves a widow, Jenny, two sons and a daughter, writes John Tresidder. A private family funeral service is being held at Plymouth - towards the end of this week, probably. Mike Avery, President and Jenny Marchant, Chairman, on behalf of the Cornwall County Association, wish to convey their deepest sympathies and love to Jenny and family.
