There was an excellent entry of 82, overall, including a squad of over thirty youngsters from Devon, two from Somerset, as well as the Cornish contingent, for this 11th prestigious Event, which is one of the South West of England’s biggest and most popular junior tournaments. Financial Assistance, together with the venue, was again provided by kind permission of Mr. Paul Smith, Headmaster, Truro School and the School Governors. Devon won seven disciplines of play, with Cornwall, the host, replying with an excellent five of its own.
