John Tresidder, the Cornwall Badminton Press/PR Officer, reiterates his County’s grateful thanks to the Center Parcs, of Great Britain Company, for the official launch and the sponsorship of BADMINTON England, for the next five years, running until 2013.

The picture to the right shows Team England’s Gail Emms (left), Heather Olver, Anthony Clark and Rob Adcock, pictured with Mr. Colin Whaley (grey suit), Sales & Marketing Director, Center Parcs, together with the Center Parcs’ Management and Staff.

John, in addition, conveys bon voyage - from the South West of England’s Badminton Community, to the Team GB Badminton Squad, on their travels and participation at the Beijing Olympic Games, 2008, next month.

Furthermore, best wishes to Heather Olver and Robert Adcock, in their badminton preparations and development for hopeful selection to the London 2012 Games.

Indeed, Heather, has associations with the Duchy, in that she won a brace of titles, the Ladies’ Singles, together with the Mixed Doubles, in tandem with Matthew Hanson, at the Duchy of Cornwall 24th “Open” Badminton Championships, held at Pool, Nr. Redruth, in 2006.
