The Kerrier 12th Junior Badminton Tournament - one of the South West of England’s biggest and most popular events - takes place at Truro School, Trennick Lane, Truro, Cornwall, next weekend (December 2nd / 3rd), from 9.30am each day.

There is another excellent entry - approaching 100 competitors, overall - including a pleasing contingent from Devon, in the Under-13, Under-15 and Under-17 age categories of the singles and doubles disciplines of play.

Charlotte Hawkins, the Crediton and Devon badminton star, who was the runner-up to Betty Blair, in the Ladies’ Singles, in the Devon Senior “Closed” Championships, is looking forward very much to competing in Truro School, again.
