Cornwall Badminton Second Team, defeated Somerset Third String by 10 rubbers to 5, in an Inter-County Regional Five Match at Yeovil, on Sunday 19th.
Kernow’s skipper, Rob Freer, reported an all-round improvement in the team’s performance, with Laura Harper, the Somerset and England cricketer registering three wins, including a singles and brace of doubles, in partnership with Sue Gaulkroger, the experienced campaigner, from the Duchy.
