Blue - going up, Red - going down, Grey - Injured & unavailable for challenging.
* denotes new ladder player, S = Senior, V = Veteran, J = Junior.
No restrictions on who joins, men/women/jnr boy/jnr girl will all play on the same ladder.
New participants start at the bottom, and can challenge any person up to five rungs above on the ladder.
On joining the ladder you may challenge any person up to ten rungs above you on the ladder for the first two weeks only.
Once a challenge is agreed, the challenger MUST send a challenge confirmation from the ladder page, or the challenge will be void.
If you don't play for 28 days, you are demoted 1 place.
To limit immediate re-challenging, you cannot play the same opponent twice during one day (at least not for the ladder).
If you beat an opponent, you take their place and they move down one.
IBF rules apply to all matches. This includes dress code.
If you're injured and cannot play, notify the laddermaster so it can be put on the ladder. Refusal to play without having given notice to the ladder beforehand means automatic loss.
Scores only accepted by email to the laddermaster within 24 hours of the match, so the ladder can be updated, don't forget to provide the date the match was played on.
Feather shuttles must be used and the first shuttle must be provided by the challenger, if a second one was needed the player being challenged would provide, and they would alternate if any more were used.
Names highlighted in
BLUE are moving up the Ladder and names in RED are slipping down. Those names in GREY are frozen out of the Ladder due to unavailability or injury.
You cannot challenge people who are out or injured.
If someone challenges you, you have to play within 2 weeks, otherwise, the challenger wins.
The challenged person must accept the challenge or forfeit the match.
If the challenger wishes to cancel the challenge they may do so with no consequences.
Once a challenge has been set no other challenge can be taken on until the match has been cancelled, forfeit, or played and the results entered.
If the person being challenged offers 3 different match times (on different days) and the challenger cannot make any of them, then the challenge is void.
If the person being challenged cannot offer 3 different 'compulsory match times' (on different days) then the challenger wins by default.
If either party is more than 20 minutes late in attending an agreed match, and the match is incomplete within the time booked, then the late or non attender loses the match.
Rule changes will be discussed by CCBA committee, and all ladder players notified by email.
Any other case concerning the badminton-ladder, not covered by any of the rules above, will be judged by the laddermaster in discussion with the CCBA committee.
